Northern Lights Drama provides arts training, development and performance projects for children and young people in Hull and the East Riding. We use our professional training and experience to provide high quality teaching and support to local talent across the region. Our training aims to help develop a young person’s confidence and interpersonal skills in addition to acting, dance and singing ability. Those who progress towards professional work in theatre, film and television will be prepared for auditions and a career within the industry. Our sessions are designed to develop self-esteem and the life skills needed to enable pupils to realise their full potential and flourish. Fun and enjoyment are at the heart of all that we do and our inclusive ethos has allowed us to grow the school with over 300 pupils attending our sessions on a weekly basis. 2020 has been a challenging year for all, but especially for the arts sector. We are committed to navigating a way through these uncertain times so that we can continue to provide high quality arts training for young people locally. Northern Lights Drama is currently operating a reduced timetable of public classes to allow us to re-open safety and incorporate social distancing measures at our sessions. Please contact us for up to date timetable and venue information. We would like to thank everyone for their support during this difficult time.
