#PFTlighthopejoy all digital activities acceSsible through What's On Digital https://pitlochryfestivaltheatre.com/whats-on-digital/ Shades of Tay - Starting August 7, Pitlochry Festival Theatre launched not one, but four months of weekly online premières - new work from leading British playwrights. Our Love Letter to Scotland is brought to life by our 2020/21 Summer Season ensemble - released through our digital series, #PFTLightHopeJoy, and on YouTube and SoundCloud. The first drama launched on Friday 7 August with Douglas Maxwell’s new work, Beautiful Boy and will then continue weekly until late November, with new works to look forward to from Timberlake Wertenbaker, Stephen Greenhorn, Peter Arnott, Jo Clifford, Abi Zakarian, Hannah Khalil, Chinonyerem Odimba, Daniel Bye, Oliver Emanuel, Hannah Lavery, Jenny Lindsay, Martin McCormick, Linda McLean, Michael O’Neill, Frances Poet, Dan Rebellato, Ellie Stewart and Morna Young. More new works will appear online throughout December from Deborah McAndrew, Bert Clark, Sally Reid, Lesley Hart and May Sumbwanyambe. The commissioned work also includes plans for bio-sculpting, a water installation, song-writing, as well as stories and songs for children. Young Explorers Besides activities included for children anyway - there's one day a week especially for children (Thursdays) - this week it was The Tiger Who Came To Tea - poem, story read in video by an actor - then a video on an activity to do - this time it was making Tiger Paw cookies - and a downloadable sheet of instructions for the activity - so parents at home have stuff to do with their little ones.
