Arts workers are finally talking to each other, and it feels like a revolution

The lockdown has also given people time to think, something we do not usually have in our busy, long-hours culture. It has given rise to amazing and powerful arts community voices in Freelancers Make Theatre Work and Scene-Change, which has itself powered the Whitecard Collective of young and emerging designers. It has seen the creation of Public Campaign for the Arts, which reaches across political divides and across the four nations to remind the government of the importance of the arts to the people of this country.
