Campaign for the Arts warns Scottish government it risks 'cultural catastrophe'

An emergency petition has demanded that the Scottish government fulfils its promise to increase investment in the arts by £100 million a year, warning if it does not it risks a national “cultural catastrophe”.

Campaign for the Arts has urged immediate action from Holyrood after arms-length funding body Creative Scotland said it had been left with no other option but to axe its Open Fund for Individuals over a lack of forthcoming investment.
