Liam Gesoff

Liam is the Communications Lead at the Campaign for the Arts.

He joins the Campaign from a music background, including work at NYJO (National Youth Jazz Orchestra), ENO (English National Opera) and We Are Lewisham, London Borough of Culture, and degrees from Oxford and Goldsmiths.

Beyond the office, Liam plays jazz and folk musics (including as musician-in-residence at a South East London nature reserve) and writes about youth culture, from jazz memes to 90s rave reunions. Throughout his work, he wants to flip the script on the arts from having ‘benefits’ to offer us above the baseline, to being our natural way of being: the baseline itself.
