It’s vital that we find ways to get the public to speak out. MPs listen to their constituents; governments listen to people. We need the Sonia Friedmans to speak passionately for the sector but many, including the Public Campaign for the Arts, are also realising we need to mobilise ordinary people, including our friends and families, to speak up for theatre too.
